Estherville – Fred H. Martin, 61, rural Estherville died Dec. 8 at Holy Family Hospital in Estherville.

Services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 11 at the Henry and Olson Funeral Chapel in Estherville with Rev. Jim Harmon officiating. Burial will be in Eastside Cemetery.

Mr. Martin was born Sept. 15, 1915 in Estherville to Mr. and Mrs. Clyde C. Martin. He was educated in the Estherville schools.

On June 15, 1941 he married Mary Galvin at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. He farmed for the rest of his life in the Estherville area, and also worked at Berkley, Inc. in Spirit Lake for the past ten years.

Mr. Martin is survived by his wife, Mary; two sons, James Martin and Craig Martin both of Estherville; two daughters, Mrs. Gary (Nancy) Karlstad of Mayville, N.D. and Mrs. Mike (Pamela) Houge of Estherville; and by four grandchildren.
