Viola Maloney Funeral at East Side Cemetery
Viola J. Maloney, sister of Mrs. Ivol Clark of Estherville and one-time Estherville resident, died Monday [July 3, 1950] at Faribault, Minn. She was born May 22, 1889 in Green county, Iowa, and as a child resided with her parents in various counties in Iowa, one years in Kansas, two years in Martin county, Minn., and moved to Emmet county in 1912. Later, the family moved to Triumph. She has been a resident of Faribault for the past 25 years.

Survivors in addition to Mrs. Clark of Estherville include two brothers, Ora Maloney of Alpha, Minn., and James of Welcome. In addition to many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters; one in infancy and another, Mrs. James Spencer of Fairmont who died June 21.

Services were held this afternoon with burial beside her parents in East Side cemetery in Estherville. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, July 6, 1950)
