Estherville – Mrs. Margaret Sullivan Steiner, 79, Estherville, died at her home Saturday [March 8, 1980].

Services for Mrs. Steiner will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Estherville, with Father Albert O. Grendler officiating.

A Rosary will be said at 7 o’clock tonight at Fuhrman Funeral Home, Estherville. Friends may call at the funeral home until time of services.

The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Sullivan, she was born Oct. 30, 1900, at Estherville. She received her education in Estherville schools and was married to Frank J. Steiner on Sept. 1, 1925, at Estherville. The couple made their home in Armstrong. Following the death of her husband, Mrs. Steiner returned to Estherville eight years ago.

She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, a member of the Altar and Rosary Society, charger member of the Catholic Daughters of America and a member of the Holy Family Hospital Auxiliary.

Mrs. Steiner is survived by one daughter, Mrs. John (Mary Ellen) Douglas, Dixon, Ill.; one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Donald H. Steiner, Fairmont, Minn.; five grandchildren; one brother, Joe Sullivan in California; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, parents, three sisters and two brothers. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, March 10, 1980)
