Estherville – Services for Shiela M. Maloney, 56, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wedneday at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church with interment in the church cemetery. Father Albert O. Grendler will officiate. She died Sunday, July 8, 1984, at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Fuhrman Funeral Home. Legion of Mary Rosary will be prayed at the funeral home at 4:30 p.m. and parish rosary will be prayed at 7:30 p.m. both at the funeral chapel on Tuesday.
She was born Aug. 4, 1927, at Estherville, the daughter of Vincent and Hallie (Richards) Maloney. She has lived most of her life at the Woodward State Hospital. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.
Survivors include her father, Vincent Maloney, Estherville; five sisters, Mrs. Clifford (Theris) Gill, San Diego, Calif., Mrs. Patricia Lane, Bloomington, Ind., Mrs. Stan (Marcella) Brewster, LaMiranda, Calif., Mrs. Richard (Mattie Ann) Kay, Phoenix, Ariz. and Mrs. Lloyd (Virginia) Dokter, Minneapolis, Minn.; two brothers, Jim Maloney, Minneapolis and Mike of Estherville; nieces and nephews.
