Estherville – Services for Mrs. Adeline Gage, 65, Estherville, will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Estherville, with Father Albert Grendler officiating. Interment will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.

Mrs. Gage died Sunday at Holy Family Hospital, Estherville.

Friends may call after 3 p.m. Monday at the Fuhrman Funeral Home, Estherville, with rosary to be recited at 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wempe, she was born April 26, 1916 at Terril, and received her education in the Terril schools. On May 18, 1943, she married Faye Gage at Des Moines.

The couple farmed in the Gruver area before moving to Dunnell, Minn. They moved to Estherville in 1953, where Mr. Gage operated the Recreation Club, and Mrs. Gage was employed at Holy Family Hospital.

She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters of America and the Wa-Tan-Ye Club.

Mrs. Gage is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Orville (Florence) Truesdell, Sherburn, Minn., Mrs. Ellsworth (Lucille) Hein, Welcome, Minn. and Mrs. Milton (Arlene) Prange, Good Thunder, Minn.; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, infant sister and two brothers. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, July 6, 1981)
