Superior – Pat Bueltel, 58, Superior, died Saturday, Sept. 27, 1986, at his home in Superior.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Estherville with Father Clair Boes officiating. Interment will be in St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery. Military rites will be provided by VFW Post 3388 and American Legion Post 91. Visitation will be 1-9 p.m. Monday at the Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home in Estherville.

He was born July 11, 1928 in Carroll to Joseph J. and Rose (Loneman) Bueltel. He received his education at Superior High School.

He moved to Superior as a child with his parents and lived there all his life. During that time he farmed with his brothers in the Superior area.

He was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, V.F.W. Post 3388 and a veteran of the Korean Conflict.

He is survived by his mother, Rose Bueltel, Superior; brothers, Earl Bueltel, Terril, Vernon Bueltel, Superior, Jim Bueltel, Estherville; Bonnie (Mrs. Marvin) Dahl, Estherville, Margie (Mrs. Jack) Fredericksen, Estherville, Janice (Mrs. Delano) Helmers, Jackson, Minn.; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Bueltel and a brother, Gerald Bueltel. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, September 29, 1986)
