Estherville – Services for Lewis J. (Pat) Bormann, 64, of Milwaukee, Wis., will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Patrick’s Church with interment in the church cemetery. Father Albert O. Grendler will officiate. He died Monday [December 7, 1981] in Milwaukee.Visitation will be for one hour prior to services at the Fuhrman Funeral Home.
He was born Oct. 11, 1917 at Wallingford the son of August and Mary Bormann. He attended Emmet Consolidate, Graettinger and Estherville schools. He served in the navy during World War Two after which he moved to Milwaukee where he was employed by Duduys Brothers Chemical Plant.
He was a member of St. Regis Catholic Church in Milwaukee.
He is survived by sons Thomas Bormann, Albuquerque, N.M. and Frank Bormann, Milwaukee; daughter, Mrs. Douglas (Patricia) MacPherson, Cherry Valley, Ill.; 11 grandchildren; brothers, Cyril Bormann, Estherville, Gregory Bormann, Emmetsburg, Bernard Bormann, Morris, Minn., sisters, Mrs. Harold Woodling, Estherville, Corrinne Johnson, Fremont, Calif., Lois Thorna, Clare, Ia.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, December 10, 1981)
