Mrs. Frances Loewenberg’s Services Set
Estherville – Mrs. Frances Elnora Loewenberg, 73, passed away Sunday at Holy Family Hospital, Estherville.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, at the Presbyterian Church, Estherville, with the Rev. Harvey Throop officiating and burial in the East Side Cemetery.

Mrs. Loewenberg was born Oct. 11 1901 in Ringsted to Peter and Kristin Petersen and received her education in Ringsted. She was married to Henry Loewenberg on May 14, 1919 in Ringsted and they had farmed in the Ringsted, Armstrong and Estherville area before moving to Estherville in 1948. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church and the VFW Auxiliary.

She is survived by five sons, Ervin, Estherville, Arnold, Cypress, Calif., Dennis, Escondido, Calif., Melvin, Garretson, S.D., and James, Minneapolis; four daughters, Mrs. Lyle (Luverne) Skow, Graettinger, Mrs. Stanley (Christina) Jensen, Ringsted, Mrs. Gilbert (Ardella) Burgess, Estherville, and Mrs. Ralph (Rose Ella) Cronk, Armstrong; 44 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Nels, Sioux Falls, and Robert, Ellendale, Minn.; three sisters, Mrs. Harry Johnson, Council Bluffs, Mrs. Alfred Jensen, Rodman, and Mrs. Nels Flint, Ringsted.

Mrs. Loewenberg was preceded in death by her parents, two children, two brothers and four grandchildren.
