Estherville Native Succumbs in Nevada
Las Vegas, Nev. – Diane Kay Burgess Day, 27, Las Vegas, passed away November 23 at her home.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Palm Mortuary Las Vegas with burial in Las Vegas.

Memorial services for Mrs. Day will be held in conjunction with services for her grandmother, Mrs. Frances Loewenberg, Friday, Nov. 29, at the Presbyterian Church.

She was born Feb. 11, 1947 to Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Burgess, Estherville.

Mrs. Day attended the Estherville schools, was a member of the Presbyterian Church and the Estherville VFW Auxiliary. She was married to Keith Day on September 6, 1969.

She is survived by her husband; one son, Scott, 4, of Las Vegas; and a daughter, Jodi Fisher, 7, Armstrong; her parents, two sisters, Mrs. Larry (Rande) Bartleman, Polk City, Iowa; and Mrs. Everett (Janet) Houge, Superior; three brothers, Donald, Las Vegas, Thomas and Robert at home.
