Ex-Area Resident Dies
Mrs. Fred (Ella) Kucker, 73, of Olivia, Minn., a former resident of the Estherville area, died yesterday afternoon at Renville County Hospital at Olivia. Mrs. Kucker, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Gremmels, was married to Fred Kucker at Whittemore on Feb. 24, 1909. The Kuckers lived at Whittemore, Lotts Creek, Fenton and Buffalo Cener during their married life. Mr. Kucker died in 1953 and was buried here. Survivors include two sons, A.H. Kucker of Old Bridge, N.J., and A.J. Kucker of Minneapolis; and one daughter, Mrs. Earl Wallace of Olivia. Funeral arrangements are pending at Sternborg-Reese Funeral Home chapel. Burial will be in East Side cemetery. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, March 5, 1962)

Kucker Rites Thursday
Last rites for Mrs. Fred (Ella) Kucker, 73, who died Sunday in Olivia, Minn., will be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m. in Sternborg Reese Funeral Chapel. The Rev. I.F. Lenz of Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod, at Olivia will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home from Wednesday morning until time of services Thursday.
