Mrs. Werner Rites Held
Funeral services for Mrs. Max Werner, better known here as Mrs. J.J. Reinboldt, were held Wednesday at the Immanuel Lutheran church, the Rev. William P. Henline officiating. Pall bearers were E.T. Baumann, LeRoy Dahna, Earl Tuttle, Glen Michael, James Mustard, and Wylie Van Eman. Mrs. [Rosina Geeb] Werner was born April 11, 1870 in Friedentahl, South Russian and died Monday [January 4, 1954] at her home , -- North Sixth street. She married J.J. Reinboldt in Russia before coming to this country. Mr. Reinboldt died on Feb. 11, 1936. She married Max Werner on Aug. 28, 1940. Surviving her death are five sons, John Reinboldt of McHenry, Ill., Joe, Bill and Fred Reinboldt of Phoenix, Ariz., and Ray of Minneapolis; five daughters, Mrs. Caroline Thorn of Estherville, Mrs. Rose Snapp of Detroit, Mich., Mrs. Katherine Van Der Wey, Mrs. Freda Ditter and Mrs. Louise Reinhardt, all of Minneapolis; 36 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren. Mrs. Werner had been a resident of Estherville for 30 years. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, January 8, 1954)
