Mrs. Tilda Kinnard Rites Held Monday
Mrs. Tilda Viola Kinnard, 68, Estherville, died at 10:20 a.m. June 8, 1973, in Holy Family Hospital, Estherville, after a lingering illness.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today (Monday) in Reese-Henry Chapel with the Rev. Stanley Eyberg officiating. Burial was made in East Side Cemetery.

She was born Dec. 27, 1904, in Morrison to Amos and Christina Show. On Nov. 26, 1924, she was married to Joseph Kinnard, and they moved to Estherville in 1927 where he worked for the railroad. They have lived here ever since.

Mrs. Kinnard is survived by two sons, Carroll Kinnard, Denver, and Joe Kinnard, Estherville; five grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Marie Mason, Cedar Rapids, and Mrs. A. T. Keough, Long Beach, Calif.; three brothers, Emmet Show, Seattle, Wash., Leutelius (Hap) Show, Reinbeck, and Raymond Show, Iowa Falls; three nieces and several nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and two brothers, George and LeRoy.

Serving as pallbearers for the funeral were Raymond Slipy, Mankato, Dave Sliby, St. Cloud, Minn.; Alfred Kelch, Bill Kinnard, Richard Sidles and Dean Lyon, Estherville.

Honorary pallbearers were Arthur Hageman, Vance Crim, Fred Elwood, Dan Sanderson, Roy Rohlin and Arnold Anliker.

Reese-Henry Funeral Home, Estherville, was in charge of arrangements. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, June 11, 1973)
