Isidore Neppl
Estherville – Services for Isidore John Neppl, 67, Estherville, were held at 10:30 a.m. Monday (today), at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church with interment in the church cemetery. Father Albert O. Grendler officiated. Neppl died Friday, Oct. 15, 1982 at Holy Family Hospital.

Henry and Olson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements where Parish Rosary and Knights of Columbus Rosary were recited on Sunday evening.

Neppl was born April 4, 1915 at Oakes, N.D., the son of Henry and Mary (Snyder) Neppl. He attended Emmet County Schools and St. Joseph Catholic School at Milford. On Jan. 12, 1939 he was united in marriage to Maxine Truesdale at Estherville. He farmed and lived in Emmet County most of his life. He retired and moved into Estherville in 1979. He was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus (the 3rd and 4th Degree), served on the Lincoln Central School Board many years and was a member of the Emmet County Pork and Beef Producers.

Survivors include one son, Leon Neppl, Madelia, Minn.; one daughter, Mrs. George (Susan) Bruner, Lakewood, Colo.; six grandchildren; three brothers and five sisters: Mrs. Clifford (Florence) Christensen, Omaha, Nebr.; Melvin Neppl, Estherville; Mrs. Roy (Lorraine) Kirchner, Spirit Lake; Mrs. Leonard (Bernice) Bendixen, Estherville; Mrs. Jerry (Ethel) Pohlen, McLean, Va.; Earl Neppl, Estherville; Mrs. Roy (Rita Mae) Fox, Bancroft and Gerald Neppl, Jacksonville, Ark.

He was preceded in death by his parents. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, October, 1982)
