James Severin "Jim" Johnson, the son of Bernard and Virginia (Boggess) Johnson was born June 1, 1965 in Estherville, Iowa. He departed this life in San Francisco, CA on Wednesday, June 14, 2000 at the age of 35 years and 13 days.

Jim attended school in Estherville and moved to Phoenix, AZ as a young man. He was united in marriage to Yvonne Taylor in 1985 in Phoenix. Jim lived in Phoenix and San Francisco.

He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church.

Jim is survived by his wife, Yvonne Johnson of Churchville, New York; one son, John S. Johnson of Churchville; mother, Virginia Johnson of Estherville; two sisters, Dawn Eveleth and her husband, Bruce of Estherville; Ellen Youds and her husband, Richard of Marshalltown, Iowa; two brothers, Steve Johnson and Larry Johnson of Estherville; nieces and newphews: Eric, Jessica and Jamie Eveleth of Estherville, Nick and Patrick Youds of Marhalltown; and great-nephew, Darnell Eveleth of Estherville.

He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents. (MC)
