Estherville – Services for Roberta Augustine, 58, of Estherville will be held Tuesday, June 13 at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church with Father Tom Nash officiating. Interment will be held at St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery. She died Friday, June 9 at Holy Family Hospital.

Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. today, Monday, June 12 with Legion of Mary Rosary at 4 p.m. and Vigil Service at 7 p.m. at the Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Home.

She was born September 5, 1938 in Marshalltown, the daughter of George and Mary (Clevery) Grabenbauer. She received her education in the Marshalltown schools graduating from Marshalltown High School in 1854. She was united in marriage to William Augustine on December 17, 1966 in Marshalltown and the couple moved to Estherville after their marriage. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters of America, Wa-tan-ye and the Holy Family Auxiliary.

She is survived by her husband, three sons, Scott of Gillette, Wyo.; Mike of Des Moines; Chuck of Iowa City; one daughter Vicki of Golden, Col.; one sisters, Mrs. Gary (Geraldine) Wheitzel of Marshalltown; one brother, Elwood Grabenbauer of Fairfield and two grandchildren.

Roberta Joan Grabenbauer, the daughter of George and Mary (Clevery) Grabenbauer was born September 5, 1936, in Marshalltown, Iowa and departed this life on Friday, June 9, 1995 at the Holy Family Hospital in Estherville, Iowa at the age of 58 years, 8 month and 5 days.

She received her education in the Marshalltown schools graduating from Marshalltown High School in 1954.

Roberta was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters of America, Holy Family Hospital Auxiliary and Wa-Tan-Ye.

Mrs. Augustine is survived by her husband, Bill of Estherville; three son, Scott Augustine and his wife, Jody of Gillette, Wyoming; Mike Augustine of Des Moines, Iowa; Chuck Augustine and his wife, Staci of Iowa City; one daughter, Vicki Augustine of Golden, Colorado; two grandchildren, Jeremy and Amber Augustine of Gillette; sister, Geraldine Wheitzel and her husband, Gary of Marshalltown; and brother Elwood Grabenbauer and his wife, Lynn of Fairfield, Iowa. She has been preceded in death by her parents. (MC)
