Mrs. John Juhl Rites Friday
Mrs. John Juhl, 84, Estherville, died at 12:20 a.m. Aug. 9 at Holy Family Hospital after an illness of several months.

Funeral services will be held at --- Friday, at the Presbyterian Church with the Rev. – Allen Wirtz officiating. Burial will be made in the East Side Cemetery.

She was born as Emma Ziemer on Jan. 19, 1888, at Dunnell, MInn. to Angus and Hannah Ziemer. She grew up in Dunnell where she was educated and married on Feb. 22, 1909 to John Juhl.

Mrs. Juhl was a long-time member of the Presbyterian Church and she belonged to the --- and the – Class of the church.

Survivors include one son, Raymond, Estherville; two daughters, Mrs. Glenn (Edna) Hackett and Mrs. Harry (Irene) Jespersen, both of Estherville; one foster daughter, Mrs. Elmer (Barbara) Herbrandson, Armstrong; 1- grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; three brothers, Harry, of Fairmont; Jess of Helena, Mont., and George of Wykoff, Minn.

She was preceded in death by her husband, daughter, Hazel, her parents, and 11 brothers and sisters.

Friends may call at any time Thursday and until 11 a.m. Friday. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, August 9, 1972)

Funeral arrangements for Mrs. John Juhl, 84, Estherville, who died Aug. 9, 1972, are being made by the Fuhrman Funeral Home, Estherville. Friends may call there at any time today and until 11 a.m. Friday. Services are to be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Presbyterian Church with burial at East Side Cemetery.
