Services Set For Nellie Howard, 77
Mrs. Nellie Maude Howard, 77, died at 10:30 p.m. yesterday at Holy Family Hospital where she had been taken earlier in the day. Her death was attributed to complications of advanced age. She had been a resident of the Good Samaritan Home for the past seven years.

Mrs. Howard was born Nov. 7, 1887, at Correctionville, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W.R. Howard.

She received her education in the schools of the Correctionville area and came to Estherville in 1918.

She was a member of the Nazarene Church.

Surviving are a son, Walter Howard of Estherville, and four grandchildren, Dennis, Barbara and Ronnie of Estherville and Ted Howard of Madison, Wis.; two brothers, Ralph Howard of Estherville and Ira Howard of Portland, Ore.; a sister, Mrs. William Heiter of Portland and a niece, Mrs. Melvin Kritlaw of Merservey.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Nazarene church, Rev. R.F. Bauerle officiating. Burial will be in Eastside Cemetery.

Friends may call at Fuhrman Funeral Home any time tomorrow and until time of the funeral on Wednesday. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, April 12, 1965)
