Brenda Lee Howard, 5, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Howard, Estherville, died at 10 a.m. Saturday [July 17, 1971] at St. Mary’s Hospital at Rochester, Minn., following a short illness.

She was born April 15, 1966, at Estherville.

She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Howard; a sister, Debra Sue, 15; a brother, Clinton Arthur, 14; a sister, Lisa Elaine, 10; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Orville Clinton, Estherville; and maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Howard, Star Buck, Minn.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Estherville, with the Rev. Herbert Brase officiating. Burial will be in East Side Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Steven Julin, Kevin Nordhausen, Darwin Howard and Shawn Shaffer.

Friends may call at the Reese-Henry Funeral Home at Estherville until 10 a.m. Tuesday. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, July 19, 1971)
