Estherville – Services for Lorna Homan, 90, of Estherville, will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home in Estherville with Father Tom Nash officiating. Interment will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Estherville. She died Friday, Dec. 6, 1996 at Estherville Good Samaritan Center.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service Tuesday at the funeral home.

She was born Nov. 30, 1906 at Ackley, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Reinke. She attended and graduated from High School at the Ackley School. June 26, 1925 she married Charles Lee Homan at Waterloo. The couple lived in Ackley 43 years before moving to Estherville in 1974. She has been a resident of Good Samaritan Center since 1993. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ackley and St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Estherville.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Gordon (Laverl) Zimmerman of Columbia, Mo.; sons Lee of Walker, Minn.; and Dennis of Oelwein; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Sept. 12, 1974; parents, three sisters and three brothers. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, December 7, 1996)
