Judy Renze
Estherville – Services for Judy G. Renze, 45, will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church with Father Thomas Topf officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. She died Tuesday, Nov. 27 1990 at McKennan Hospital, Sioux Falls, S.D.Friends may call at Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. Thursday. Legion of Mary Rosary will be prayed at 4 p.m. and parish rosary at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
She was born May 12, 1945 at Winona, Minn., the daughter of Hugh and Mary (Norton) Shaw. She attended Cotter High School. St. Anthony School of Practical Nursing in Carroll and later certified as a Registered Central Service Technician through Purdue University. On October 9, 1965 she married Loren Renze at Winona, Minn. She lived in Carroll and worked at St. Anthony Regional Hospital as a surgical nurse until 1978 when they moved to Estherville then she worked at Holy Family Hospital as a surgical nurse and as a supervisor of central services at the hospital.
She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Altar and Rosary Society, Catholic Daughters of America, Religious Education, Christian Concerns at Holy Family Hospital.
Survivors include her husband Loren, Estherville; parents, Hugh and Mary Shaw, Winona; two sons: Mark, Peoria, Ill. and Curt, Estherville; two daughters, Lisa and Teresa both of Estherville; five sisters: Carol Holy, Missoula, Mont. and Mrs. Don (Rita) Weinmann, Neenah, Wis.; Rose Mary Eich, Carroll; Mrs. Larry (Mariclare) Malmin, Minnetonka, Minn.; and Mrs. Packy (Beverly) Cashman, Owatonna, Minn.; two brothers: Mark Shaw, Northfield, Minn. and Michal Shaw, Little Canada, Minn.
