Estherville – Services for Anna M. Kibbie, 76, of Faribault, Minn., formerly of Estherville, will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church with Father Tom Nash officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. She died Thursday, Oct. 27, 1994 at Pleasant Manor Care Center at Faribault, Minn.Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. Sunday at Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home in Estherville with Legion of Mary Rosary at 5 p.m. and Parish Vigil service at 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
She was born May 10, 1918 at Estherville, the daughter of Charles and Rena (Lucas) Burkart and attended Estherville Schools. She married Ernie Amos in 1945. After his death she married Justin Kibbie on Mary 14, 1949 at Jackson, Minn. The couple lived in Estherville until 1985 when she moved to Orlando, Fla. to be near a daughter and in 1990 moved to Faribault near another daughter. She was a resident at Pleasant Manor Care Center at the time of her death. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church and the American Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors include daughters, Mrs. Paul (LaVonne) Parrett, Superior; Mrs. Tom (Rose) Kramer of Faribault; Mrs. Jim (Alice) Applegate, Estherville; sons: Loren Burkart, Estherville; David Kibbie, Pleasantville; Leonard Kibbie, Mt. Pleasant and Larry Kibbie, Shawnee, Okla; 17 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brothers, Chuck Burkart, Settle, Wash. and Glenn Burkart, Manhatten, Ill.
