MRS. IRWIN PASSES AWAY
FOR YEARS A RESIDENT OF THIS COUNTY RESIDING NEAR
TOWN OF GUUVER
REMOVED TO FLORIDA RECENTLY
The Remains Will Bo Laid to Rest at Eustis, Florida Their Present Home.
The Rev. R. C. Mitchell received word the first of the week of the death of Mrs. L. Irwin of Eustis, Flordia. It was but last fall that Mr.
and Mrs. Irwin moved from this city to Florida for Mrs. Irwins health. She has been in very feeble condition tor sometime past and it was thought the change to the warm climate would improve her. Mrs. Irwin has been a resident of this city and of the farm near Gruver for years and has many close friends here who will grieve to hear of her departure and who will mourn with her bereaved husband.

Mr. and Mrs. John Irwin have been at the parental home this winter and were on their way home. They knew nothing of her death until reaching this city as they were not in communication with the father since leaving there.

The remains are to be laid to rest at Eustis as Mr. Irwin intends at this time to make his home there. (Estherville Enterprise, Estherville, IA, May 2, 1917)

Note: it appears she was actually buried in East Side, Estherville
