Estella Irwin Passes Away
Death Comes Monday Evening After Illness of Typhoid Fever
Miss Estella Irwin died Monday evening at 8 o’clock at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Irwin, 315 North Twelfth street, after an illness of two weeks of typhoid fever. The funeral will be held at 2 o’clock this afternoon from the Christian church. The services will be conducted by Rev. D. F. Snider, assisted by Rev. F. W. Ginn. The Interment will be in the east side cemetery.The deceased was born in Benton county, Iowa, July 16, 1874, and would have been 30 years of age her next birthday. From Benton county she went with her parents to Cherokee and two years ago last November to this city, which had since been her home. She was a most excellent young woman, a member of the Christian church, and had a host of warm personal friends. She is survived by her father and mother and three brothers and two sisters, L. W. Irwin, Albert Irwin and P. C. Irwin, Mrs. C. E. Person and Miss Olive Irwin. (Vindicator & Republican, Estherville, IA, January 13, 1904)
