Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Church in Pocahontas for Mrs. Barbara Theesfeld Drobney, 77, who died Sunday [June 27, 1971] at Pocahontas Manor Home.

Barbara Wagner was born to Mr. and Mrs. John Wagner on Nov. 1, 1893, at Fonda. She was educated in the schools of Pocahontas County.

On Jan. 12, 1912, she was married to Henry Theesfeld and they made their home in Pocahontas County until 1928 when they moved to Terril. In 1938, they moved to Pipestone, Minn., and later to Windom, Minn., where Theesfeld died in August, 1951.

Mrs. Theesfeld later moved to Estherville and in November, 1955, she was married to A.J. Drobney and lived in Pocahontas. Drobney died in October, 1966.

She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America and Legion of Mary.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. George (Julia) Reuland of Superior, Mrs. Milton (Viola) Kingsley of Kansas City, Mo., Mrs. Marie Roberts of East Moline, Ill., and Mrs. Jack (Colleen) Janasko of Lakefield, Minn.; eight sons, John, Tony and Albert Theesfeld of Estherville, Harold Theesfeld of Curlew, Ronald, Thomas, Duane and Wayne Theesfeld of Kansas City, Mo.; two brothers, Tony Wagner of Oronoco, Minn., and Ed of Fonda; two sisters, Mrs. John (Margaret) Anderson of Sioux City and Mrs. Oliver (Freda) Ong of Mason City.
