Tim Hoffman Hospitalized in Rochester
Estherville – Timothy Hoffman, 7, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hoffman, who has been hospitalized at Rochester has been transferred from St. Mary’s Hospital to Methodist Hospital there. He is expected to remain at least five weeks longer.

Cards and letters may be sent to Tim at Methodist Hospital, Rochester, Minn. 55901. It is requested that messages be printed for Tim, otherwise he is unable to read them. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, April 18, 1974)

Hoffman Dies; Rites Set Monday
Rochester – Timothy John Hoffman, 7, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hoffman of Estherville, died at 12:30 a.m. today (April 19) in Methodist Hospital, Rochester. He had been ill one week.

He was born in Estherville on July 14, 1966. He was presently in second grade at Maniece School and a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Estherville Lutheran Church with the Rev. Howard Brown of Redeemer Lutheran in charge of services. Visitation may be made at the Reese-Henry Funeral Home, Estherville, Sunday afternoon and evening.

Timothy is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hoffman, and one brother, Todd, 13; his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Bisgaard of Graettinger; and paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed G.L. Hoffman of Muscatine; also many aunts, uncles and cousins. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, April 19, 1974)
