Rites Held for Infant Daughter of Local Couple
Graveside services were held at 3:30 p.m. today at East Side Cemetery for Danyal Lynn Higgins, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Higgins of Estherville. The baby was born prematurely at 2:25 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Family Hospital weighing one pound and 12 ounces. She died at 11:20 p.m. yesterday.

Surviving are her parents, and her maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Cyril Fischer, and her paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Higgins, all of rural Estherville.

Rev. Stephen Engelstad of the Estherville Lutheran Church officiated. Reese-Henry Funeral Home was in charge. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, November 21, 1968)
