Estherville – Funeral services for Fred H. Hall, 80, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Fuhrman Funeral Home, Estherville, with the Rev. Donavon Johnson of the Church of Christ officiating and burial at the East Side Cemetery. He died Wednesday at Holy Family Hospital.Mr. Hall was born Dec. 26, 1896 [per cemetery records, 1895, per SS Death index 1890] in Texas to Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hall. He moved to Emmet County in 1920 and was married to Maggie Peak at Missouri Valley July 3, 1923. In 1925 they moved to Dunfeith, N.D., and returned to Emmet County in 1938 where they farmed.
Survivors include his wife, Maggie; five daughters, Mrs. Frank (Joyce) Hiney, Dolliver; Mrs. Don (Jewel) Strube, Phoenix, Ariz.; Mrs. Frank (Doris) Klingbeil, Estehrville; Mrs. Robert (Donna) Lange, Blair, Neb.; and Mrs. Jerry (Sharon) Sents, Raleigh, N.C.; two sons, Clyde Hall, Gruver; and Clayton Hall, Biloxi, Miss.; 20 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Fuhrman Funeral Home until time of services Friday. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, March 11, 1976)
