Mrs. Lynn (Eunice Mae) Weir,71, died at 2 p.m. Sunday at Holy Family Hospital following a short illness. She was born Feb 12, 1900, at Newell to William Shultz and Sarah Fitchett. She received her education at the Newell and Superior schools. She moved with her parents to Emmet County at the age of 14. She was married March 5, 1921, to Lynn Weir at Estherville. She had lived in the Estherville community all of her life, where the couple farmed. She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church and the United Presbyterian Church Circles, Phythian Sisters, and a charter member of the Triple E Club.

She is survived by her husband, Lynn, Estherville; three daughters, one son, 13 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and three brothers, Lyle Shultz, Bert Shultz and Lee Shultz.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one sister.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the United Presbyterian Church of Estherville, with the Rev. H. Alan Wirtz officiating. Burial will be in East Side Cemetery.
