David Lee Haines Dies
David Lee Haines, three-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Haines died suddenly at 11:20 a.m. yesterday. Encephalitis was listed as the cause. He passed into a coma shortly after 11 a.m. and died before a physician could reach his home. He was born Nov. 4, 1948. Surviving his death are two brothers, George, 11, and Barie, 9; his parents; and grandparents, Mrs. and Mrs. E.J. Wymer and Mr. and Mrs. Vern Haines. A sister, Carol Kay, preceded him in death five years ago. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Methodist church. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, August 6, 1952)
