Willis Grems
Estherville – Funeral services for Willis Grems, 64, Estherville, will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Harvey Throop officiating and burial in the East Side Cemetery.

He died Oct. 2 at the Veteran’s Administration Hospital in Minneapolis. Friends may call at the Henry Funeral Home after 7 p.m. Saturday and all day Sunday.

Mr. Grems was born June 7, 1911 at Gruver to Walter and Susie Brennan Grems and was educated in rural schools. He was married to Myrtle Roach on January 17, 1942 at Jackson, Minn. and was self employed as a carpenter. He had lived in Estherville since 1948 and was a veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Myrtle; two sons, Leslie Allen Grems, Estherville; and Harold, Mankato; two daughters, Mrs. Gary (Sharon) Pearson, Britt; and Mrs. Lyndel (Jeanette) Cloud, Plainview, Ill.; four grandchildren; four brothers, Merle and Lester Grems, Estherville; and one sister, Mrs. Edna Julius, Estherville.

He was preceded in death by his parents. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, October 3, 1975)
