On Monday Mr. and Mrs. F.H. Rhodes left for Hampton in response to a telegram announcing the death of Miss Rosa Culver at that place. The deceased was quite well known in Estherville and was a fine young lady of many noble characteristics and rich virtues. Her death will cause profound sorrow among a large circle of friends. The many friends here will be pained to hear of the death of Miss Rose Culver which occurred at Hampton, Monday. She was a most estimable young lady. Mr. and Mrs. F.H. Rhodes attended the funeral. (Emmet County Republican, Estherville, IA, September 8, 1892)
