Died – Amelia Lillie Culver, wife of L.M. Culver, born June 12th, 1840, died June 23d, 1885.
Funeral from the residence Thursday – sermon will be preached by Rev. Carpenter Sunday morning. (Northern Vindicator, Estherville, IA, June 26, 1885)
Station Agent Culver of the C.M. & St. P. Ry., while on a business trip to Wisconsin received the sad news of the sudden death of his wife [June 23, 1885]. It was only by extraordinary effort that he was enabled to reach home in time for the funeral Thursday. (Northern Vindicator, Estherville, IA, June 26, 1885)
