Estherville – Services for Marie Clabaugh, 61, Estherville, were held today at the Union Baptist Church, Estherville, with the Rev. Fred Glasser officiating. Interment was in East Side Cemetery.

Mrs. Clabaugh died Friday [April 22, 1977] at Holy Family Hospital, Estherville. Henry and Olson Funeral Home, Estherville was in charge of services.

She was born Dec. 8, 1915, at Spirit Lake, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Grant Lyle. She received her education in rural Emmet County schools. She was married to Clarence Rezac Jr. in October, 1935, at Estherville, and married Roy Clabaugh Sr. March 21, 1948, at Sioux Falls, S.D.

Mrs. Clabaugh lived her entire life in the Estherville area and was a member of the Union Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Roy Clabaugh Sr., Estherville; three sons, Clarence Rezac Jr., Dolliver; LeRoy Clabaugh, Estherville, and Terry Clabaugh, Estherville; five daughters, Mrs. Jim (Dorothy) Laabs, Ringsted, Sandra Frerichs, Estherville, Mrs. David (Mary) Saxton, Estherville, Tracy Grems, Estherville, and Connie Clabaugh, Estherville; sixteen grandchildren; two brothers, Ray Lyle, Luddington, Mich., and Roy Lyle, Estherville; and one sister, Mrs. Frankie Turkie, Milwaukee, Wis.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, two sisters and two grandchildren. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, April 25, 1977)
