Beilharz Rites Held
Local Lady Passed Away Tuesday After Lingering Illness
Mrs. George [Debbie Dillon] Beilharz passed away Tuesday [April 29, 1941] morning after a lingering illness. Her death was caused from heart trouble and complications.

Funeral services were held this (Thursday) afternoon at 2:00 o’clock at the Sternborg Funeral home and 2:30 at the Christian church. The Rev. Fred Sawyer officiated assisted by Rev. G. E. Forssell, of the Baptist church. Burial was in the Eastside cemetery.

Mrs. Beilharz was born August 19, 1888 [per cemetery records, 1889], in Illinois. She was 52 years old at the time of her death. When she was twelve years old she moved with her parents to Estherville and has made her home here ever since. She was married to Mr. Beilharz 32 years ago, their marriage taking place at Spirit Lake.

During her long illness, which extended over a period of four months. Mrs. Beilharz has been a patient sufferer, never grumbling at her lot or complaining of the pain she was forced to bear. While her health permitted Mrs. Beilharz was actively interested in her neighborhood and community and had many friends who will deeply regret her passing away.

Besides her husband she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Ross D. Sidles, of Estherville, and Mrs. Earl O. Sidles, of Terril. (Vindicator and Republican, Estherville, IA, May 1, 1941)
