Vinal Bebo Dies Friday
Vinal L. [Leounce] Bebo, 53, Estherville, died Friday, May 26, 1972, at his home in Estherville.Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today at the First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. H. Allen Wirtz officiating. Burial was made in East Side Cemetery.
Mr. Bebo was born Feb. 6, 1919, in Brookings, S.D., to Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Bebo, and he was educated in Sioux Falls schools. He was married to Tillie Swalve on Nov. 16, 1941, in Ceylon, Minn.
The couple farmed in the Dolliver and Thompson areas before coming to Estherville in 1962. Here Mr. Bebo was employed by the Jacobson engineering company. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Tillie, of Estherville; two daughters, Mrs. Harold (Lenora) Eisenman of Buffalo Center and Mrs. Larry (Ardella) Book of Goodell; five grandchildren; five brothers, Ival Hahn of Flandreau, S.D.; Verril Bebo of Cannon Falls, Minn., Vernon Bebo of Academy, S.D., Dale Bebo of Phoenix, Ari.,Virtis (Joe) Bebo of Jamestown, N.D.; one sister, Mrs. Valva Bacon, Sioux Falls, S.D.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
Reese-Henry Funeral Home of Estherville was in charge of arrangements. Pall bearers were Dale Clemitson, Bill Leach, Hjalmer Irons, John Badje J., Richard Block and Dean Farland. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, May 30, 1972)
