Estherville Woman’s Rites Set
Estherville – Funeral services from Mrs. Bertha [Berg] Anfinson, 80, Estherville, will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Estherville Lutheran Church with the Revs. John Sherman and Sheldon Schearer officiating and burial in the East Side Cemetery. She passed away early Thursday morning at Holy Family Hospital.

Mrs. Anfinson was born Jan. 13, 1895 in Norway and received her education thre. She came to the United States at the age of 16 and was married to Eli Anfinson Jan. 2, 1914 at Clarion. They moved to Estherville in 1935 and she had lived here since.

She was a member of the Estherville Lutheran Church. Mr. Anfinson died in 1955.

Survivors include one son, Lloyd, Des Moines; two daughters, Mrs. Bernard Fry, Wells, Minn.; and Mrs. Nels Balmer, Estherville; 10 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Louis Peterson, Saskatchewan, Canada.
