Mrs. Amdal Services Set For Sunday
Everett, Wash. – Mrs. Selmer S. (Kirstin) Amdal died June 20 in Everett. The body will be brought to Estherville where graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday at East Side Cemetery.

The Rev. Stan Eyberg will officiate at the services. Fuhrman Funeral Home, Estherville, is in charge of arrangements.

She was born in Norway on Jan. 20, 1896 and came here to Estherville in 1914. She was married here, and she and her husband moved to Everett, Wash. He died in 1960.

She is survived by one son, Kenneth Amdal of Everett; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; and relatives in Norway. She was preceded in death by her husband and one daughter, Jennie Gertrude. She was a sister-in-law of Hazel Amdal, Estherville. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, June 21, 1974)
