Baby Girl is Called Monday
Daughter of Mrs. Bringle Victim of Meningitis
Little Gloria Jane Bringle, year old daughter of Mrs. Gladys Bringle, died Monday [October 30, 1933] afternoon following a short illness. The little girl was born on Jan. 18, 1932, at Minot, N.D., and came to Estherville with her mother following the death of her father at Minot the last of January, 1933.

Three little sisters, Joyce, Jean and Phyllis and the mother survive.

Gloria’s death was caused by some form of meningitis. Funeral arrangements await returns from the Iowa City hospital for a final diagnosis of the disease. They will probably be held Thursday. (Vindicator and Republican, Estherville, IA, October 31, 1933)

Funeral Services For Gloria Bringle To Be Held Thursday
Funeral services for Gloria Jane Bringle, daughter of Mrs. Gladys Bringle, will be held Thursday at two o’clock at the home of Mrs. E. C. Heyer and at 2:30 at the Lutheran Church. Rev. Mathre will be in charge.

Gloria Jane died Monday at 3:15 at the Coleman hospital after an illness of a month. She was twenty-one months of age. She is survived by her mother and three sisters, Joyce Elaine, Jeanne Remine and Phyllis Jean, besides hosts of relatives.

The sympathy of the community goes to the family in this, their second death in the family within a year. Her father, Mr. Maurice Bringle, died in Minot, N.Dak., about nine months ago. (Estherville Enterprise, Estherville, IA, November 1, 1933)

The shocking news was received Tuesday of the death of little Gloria Jane Bringle in an Estherville hospital. Her mother, Mrs. Maurice Bringle had recently returned from Dell Rapids, S.D., where the baby was taken ill. (Vindicator and Republican, Estherville, IA, November 2, 1933)
