Clifford Wycoff
Estherville – Funeral services for Clifford L. Wycoff, 69, Estherville, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church with Father A. O. Grendler officiating and burial at the church cemetery. He died Sunday [September 21, 1975] at the Holy Family Hospital.Mr. Wycoff was born April 6, 1906 at Ayrshire to William and Alice Waldron Wycoff and was educated in Emmetsburg. He was married to Iva Swanson June 17, 1925 at Dundee, Minn. and moved to Estherville in 1931 where he operated the Estherville Scrap Iron and Metal Company until his retirement in 1970. He was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Iva; two sons, Dale and Larry; and one daughter, Mrs. Clarence (Luella) Halstead, all of Estherville; 19 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; one brother, Peter, Oroville, Calif.; and two sisters, Mrs. Josephine Conway, Charles City; and Mrs. Cleone Benson, Tampa, Fla.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, one sister and one brother.
Friends may call at the Henry Funeral Home, Estherville, after 1 p.m. Tuesday. A rosary will be said at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, September 22, 1975)
