Aged Lady Passes
Dies at the Age of 82 on Monday Morning After a Long Illness
Mrs. Katherine [Catherine Kaeder Origer] Origer, age 82, passed away Monday, May 4, at 4:00 A.M. from old age and heart trouble. She had been under the care of Miss Hattie Griffith on S. 9th street.

Mrs. Origer was born on April 10, 1860. Her husband had preceded her in death, but she is survived by three daughters, Mrs. C. P. Jones of Pocatello, Idaho; Mrs. J. Dulmaine, Denver, Colo.; Mrs. G. Cook of Fort Dodge; five sons, Charles of Boulder, Colo.; Thomas of Duluth, Minn.; Adolph, Herman and Joseph Origer all of Estherville. There are also several grandchildren who survive her.

Rosary will be recited at the Origer home northeast of town on Tuesday night at 8:30. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. in the Catholic church with Rev. J. J. Keane in charge. (Vindicator and Republican, Estherville, IA, May 5, 1942)

John Origer and Mr. and Mrs. John Faber and Adele attended the funeral of Mrs. Nick Origer at Estherville Wednesday morning. Mrs. Origer was an aunt of John Origer and Mrs. Faber. (Algona Upper Des Moines, Algona, IA, May 12, 1942)
