Amelia McNally, 78, Estherville, Dies; Rites Set
Mrs. Ed. H. (Amelia Loretta) McNally, 78, Estherville, died yesterday at 2 p.m. in Holy Family Hospital after a short illness. She was born Nov. 8, 1891 [per cemetery records, 1890] at Ayrshire to Jacob and Agnes Stambach and was educated in the Ayrshire schools.

On July 7, 1913, she was married to E. H. McNally at Ayrshire. They moved to Estherville in December, 1926. In 1963 they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church and Catholic Daughters of America.

Mrs. McNally is survived by her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Eugene F. Rouch of Burbank, Calif; 3 sons, L. E. McNally of Gulfport, Miss., M. G. McNally, Daphne, Ala., E. H. McNally, Jr., of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; and 21 grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents and one brother, John.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church with the Rt. Rev. Msgr. James H. Duhigg officiating. Burial will be at St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Rosary will be at the Fuhrman Funeral Home at 8 p.m. Thursday.

Friends may call at the Fuhrman Funeral Home from noon Thursday until time of services on Friday. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, June 3, 1970)
