Ed McNally Services Held Today
Funeral services for Edward McNally, 87, Estherville, were held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Patrick’s Church, Estherville, with Msgr. James H. Duhigg officiating. Interment was made in St. Patrick’s cemetery.

Mr. McNally died Aug. 31, in Holy Family Hospital, Estherville. He was born June 4, 1886, in Emmetsburg to John and Mary McNally. He received his education in Emmetsburg schools. On July 7, 1913, he was married Amelia Stambach in Ayrshire. They lived in Emmetsburg and Ayrshire and came to Estherville in December, 1926. Mrs. McNally died June 2, 1970.

Survivors include three sons, Eugene McNally of Biloxi, Miss., Gregory McNally and Ed McNally Jr., Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; 21 grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Ellen E. Clark, Phoenix, Ariz.

He was preceded in death by his wife, one daughter, Mrs. Eugene (Denise) Rouch. Fuhrman Funeral Home, Estherville, was in charge of arrangements. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, September 4, 1973)
