Mrs. Louis Krier
Estherville – Mrs. Louis (Ella) Krier, 74, Estherville, died early Friday morning at the Good Samaritan Center.

Services will be held Monday, Dec. 6 at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, with burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Parish Rosary will be at 2 p.m. Sunday. The Fuhrman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Krier was born April 10, 1902 in Warrenton, Mo., to Mr. and Mrs. A. Henry Hagemann [Hageman]. She was educated in the Warrenton schools and later at Central Weslyn Academy in Warrenton.

On Oct. 3, 1922 she married Louis Krier at St. Patrick’s in Estherville. The couple farmed, and Mr. Krier operated a corn shelling business. In 1962 the couple moved to Estherville and celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 1972. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Church, the Rosary Society, Catholic Daughters of America, and the Brown Creek Club.

Mrs. Krier was preceded in death by her husband in May, 1972, her parents, one sister, and seven brothers. She is survived by a son, Wilbert Krier of Estherville; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Janet) Adkins and Mrs. Joseph (Judy) Enger, both of St. Paul, Minn.; and by eight grandchildren.
