Robert Theodore Kruse, 64, Estherville, died Thursday [July 29, 1971] evening at 9:39 at Holy Family Hospital. Cause of death was a heart condition. He had been in failing health for the past several years.

He was born Oct. 15, 1906, at Clarkfield, Minn., the son of Mr. and Mrs. Klaus Kruse. He received his education in Clarkfield.

He was married May 3, 1930, to Helen Coyle at Brewster, Minn. Following their marriage, they made their home at Round Lake, Minn., Lake Park and Estherville. He was a field man for the Estherville Coop Creamery and retired in 1968.

He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Leo (Beverly) Lenz, Estherville, four grandchildren; three brothers, William, Herman and Walter, Worthington, Minn.; four sisters, Mrs. Clyde Stowe, Worthington, Minn., Mrs. Minnie Stowe, Lakefield, Minn.; Mrs. Rose Peterson, Northfield, Minn.; and Mrs. Maragaret Myers, Worthington, Minn.

He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, two brothers, and two sisters.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Patrick’s Church, Estherville. Burial will be in St. Patrick’s cemetery.

Friends may call after 3 p.m. today at Fuhrman Funeral Home until time of services Saturday.

Rosary will be at 8 p.m. at the funeral home Friday. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, July 30, 1971)
