Elaine Keogh Dies from Operation
Elaine Keogh, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Keogh of Minneapolis, formerly of Estherville, died yesterday morning after a adenoid operation. Elaine would have been three years old next month. Mrs. Thomas Doyle, mother of Mrs. Keogh, went to Minneapolis yesterday. Funeral arrangements have not been made but the services will be held here in the Catholic church. Elaine is survived by her parents and one brother at Minneapolis and her grandmother, Mrs. Doyle, and an uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Maine of Estherville. Little Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cletus Keogh Passes
Elaine Keogh, three-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Keogh, passed away just before noon today at Minneapolis. The little girl had undergone an operation for tonsils and adenoids at a hospital there and did not regain consciousness. The body will be brought to Estherville for burial.

There is one other child, an older brother, Richard, in the family. (Vindicator and Republican, Estherville, IA, January 29, 1930)

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Keogh of Minneapolis and Mrs. John Nolan of Loomis, S.D., were here to attend the funeral of Mr. and Mrs. Cletus Keogh’s little daughter, Elaine, who was buried Saturday morning. The little girl was only three years old. (Vindicator and Republican, Estherville, IA, February 5, 1930)
