Out-of-town relatives who were here for the funeral services of Mrs. John Erpelding held yesterday at St. Patrick’s church, include Mr. and Mrs. Herman Bombarger, Mrs. Earl Foster, Mr. and Mrs. F. C. Entringer, Mrs. Celia Noll and Henry Noll, all of Sioux Falls, S.D.; Raymond Entringer, Del Rapids, Wisc.; Mr. and Mrs. Ed Schenk, Katie Dunne, all of Dubuque; Mrs. Harold Yaeger, Bellevue, and Mrs. Leo Feller, Maquoketa. Services Held Last Week for Mrs. Erpelding
Mrs. John (Angie) Erpelding, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Entringer, was born July 22, 1878 at Springbrook. She died March 18, 1957 at Holy Family Hospital from a coronary ailment.

Prior to death Mrs. Erpelding had been in ill health for about two months.

Angie Entringer and John Peter Erpelding were married on Feb. 22, 1898 at Dubuque and Bellevue for several years following their marriage and came to Emmet county at 1909.

Mrs. Erpelding was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church and of the Altar and Rosary Society.

Funeral services were conducted March 21, 1957 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Church with Rosary being recited at 8:45 p.m., the preceding night at the Sternborg Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Father J. H. Duhigg officiated.

Pallbearers were Frank Campisano, Ben Burns, Theo Schacherer, Ed Opelt, Warren Mortimore and Cecil Seiliger.

Surviving Mrs. Erpelding in death are two sons, Michael and Joseph, both of Estherville; one daughter, Mrs. Ralph Schacherer of Wallingford; two brothers, Nick Entringer of Sioux Falls and Jake Entringer of Dubuque; a sister, Mrs. Kate Regenwether, also of Dubuque.

Also surviving are 10 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Erpelding preceded her in death in 1953.

Out-of-town guests attending funeral services included Mr. and Mrs. Herman Bombarger, Mrs. Earl Foster, Mr. and Mrs. F. C. Entringer, Miss Cecilia Noll, Henry Noll, all of Sioux Falls, S.D.; Raymond Entringer, Dell Rapids, S.D.; Mr. and Mrs. Ed Schenck and Kattie Dunne, all of Dubuque; Mrs. Harold Yaeger, Bellevue and Mrs. Leo Feller, Maquoketa.
