Final Rites on Saturday
Funeral services for Mrs. Martin Olson, 67, who died from Cancer Thursday morning at Holy Family Hospital, are scheduled at 3 p.m. Saturday at Estherville Lutheran Church, Rev. Roy Hendrickson officiating.

She had been hospitalized for two months.

Public rites will be preceded by family services at 2:30 p.m. at the church. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Reese Funeral Home today until noon Saturday when the body will be taken to the church.

Hannah Johnson was born Oct. 24, 1898, at Ruthven, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Knute Johnson. She received her education in Estherville, where she moved with her parents in 1912.

She was married Oct. 24, 1923, to Martin Olson at Estherville and for many years was employed by the Pantry Café, Majestic Café, and the Estherville Laundry.

Mrs. Olson was a member of Estherville Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her husband; four daughters, Mrs. Edgar (Helen) Alseth of Forks, Wash., Mrs. Laurance (Ruth) Elwell of Wayzatya, Minn., Mrs. Arnold Wolley of Lewisville, Minn., and Mrs. Harold (Eleanor) Mustard of Estherville; four sons, Richard, Harold, and Donald of Estherville and Clarence of Sioux Falls, S.D.; 26 grandchildren, one great-grandchild; one brother, Louis Jonson of Moline, Ill.; and two sisters, Mrs. Marie Gammon of Des Moines and Mrs. Linda Halleck of Venice, Fla.

Her parents and two brothers preceded her in death. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, April 15, 1966)
