Ex-Resident Dies
Lyman Needham, former resident of Estherville and a retired Rock Island railroad engineer, died at Albert Lea this morning at 2 o’clock. Services will be held for Needham in Albert Lea, and a Masonic service will be performed Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. in Oak Hill cemetery in Estherville before interment. He had left Estherville many years ago. Porter Henaman of Estherville is a stepson, and the only known relative living in this area. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, July 3, 1950)
