At Albert Lea Funeral
Mesdames Guy Beemer, Ida Smith, Emma and Louis Thaves attended the funeral of Mrs. Marie Needham at Albert Lea Thursday. It was held at the funeral home there, and the Rev. Mr. Peters of the Presbyterian church was in charge. Burial was in Estherville beside L. J. Needham, who died almost two years ago. Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Ley attended the graveside services in Estherville the same afternoon. Mrs. Needham leaves three grown stepchildren, Lavon, in Minneapolis, and Gretchen and Morris, in Albert Lea. Ex-Resident of Lakota Passes
Lakota – Funeral services were held at Albert Lea last Thursday for Mrs. Marie Needham with burial at Estherville.

Mrs. Needham lived in Lakota for a long time, coming here as the bride of the late Dr. H. G. Johnston, and was the mother of three children, Morris, LaVaun, and Gretchen, who survive. The family then lived in Estherville and the deceased returned to Lakota after her marriage to Mr. L. J. Needham.

Of late years, Mrs. Needham has made her home in Albert Lea. Several old-time friends attended he services. (Algona Upper Des Moines, Algona, IA, June 17, 1952)
