Mrs. Noel Daniels of Estherville received word of the death of her brother, Albert Nauss of Algona. The cause of his death was double pneumonia, being sick only a very short time. He leaves to mourn his death, his wife and three children. Mr. and Mrs. Noel Daniels of Estherville, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Blum, Mrs. Betsy Daniels, Warren and Everett attended the funeral Friday afternoon. Carl Nauss’ Brother Taken by Death
Carl Nauss, local WNAX service station operator, mourns the death of a brother, an account of which is taken from the Estherville News as follows:

Albert Nauss, 43, former Emmet county farmer, died this morning at 1:45 from pneumonia at the Algona hospital after an illness of less than a week. Services were held here Friday. Mr. Nauss moved to Algona four years ago and has been operating an oil station there. He was born April 24, 1894, at Iona, Minn. He is survived by his widow and three children: Eloise, Lee and Lois; three brothers, Carl Nauss of Emmetsburg, Ed Nauss of Spirit Lake and Fred Nauss of Estherville; two sisters, Mrs. Noel Daniels of Estherville and Mrs. Glen Martin of Sherburn; and his father, Herman Nauss of Estherville.
